Last updated: July 7, 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of Daily Brief for YNAB. By creating an account, connecting YNAB, starting a trial, paying for the service, or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description

Daily Brief for YNAB provides a read-only email briefing based on YNAB data you authorize the service to access. The service may show or send budget highlights, transaction summaries, account movement, category information, and configured spending averages.

Not financial advice

Daily Brief for YNAB is an informational tool only. It is not financial, tax, legal, accounting, investment, or budgeting advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing source records, making financial decisions, paying bills, managing cash flow, filing taxes, and deciding whether any action is appropriate for your circumstances.

No financial liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Brief for YNAB is not responsible for losses, overdrafts, missed payments, fees, penalties, incorrect financial decisions, tax consequences, lost income, lost savings, or other financial harm arising from your use of or reliance on the service, reports, emails, previews, alerts, third-party data, or integrations.

Security and account responsibility

We use reasonable measures intended to help protect the service, but no internet service, email delivery system, database, or integration can be guaranteed secure, uninterrupted, or error-free. You are responsible for protecting your email account, password, devices, YNAB account, and any recipients you add. Use a strong unique password, keep your email secure, review recipient addresses carefully, and revoke access if you no longer want the service connected to YNAB.

No security liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Brief for YNAB is not responsible for unauthorized access, disclosure, interception, loss, corruption, delay, or misuse of data caused by your actions, recipient choices, compromised credentials, insecure devices, email forwarding, third-party services, YNAB, hosting providers, payment providers, email providers, networks, or events outside our reasonable control.

Data accuracy and availability

Briefings depend on YNAB data, your settings, delivery infrastructure, and third-party services. Reports may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, duplicated, inaccurate, or outdated. You should verify important information directly in YNAB, your financial institution, or other official records before acting on it.

Acceptable use

You may use the service only for lawful personal or household budget awareness. You must not misuse the service, attempt to access another user's data, bypass security controls, interfere with service operation, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or use the service in a way that violates YNAB's terms or any applicable law.

Third-party services

The service depends on third-party providers such as YNAB, hosting, database, email, payment, monitoring, and DNS providers. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their acts, omissions, terms, security, availability, data, or fees.

Billing

Paid access, trial periods, renewal timing, and pricing are shown during checkout or in the product. Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. You are responsible for keeping payment information current and for any taxes or charges associated with your subscription.

Changes and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, features, pricing, or these terms. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account creates risk, violates these terms, or threatens the service, other users, or third parties.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and security.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Brief for YNAB and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty dollars, whichever is greater.
